Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have had a hacker in my first MBP that i ended up selling 2 and a half years ago because of this problem, and bought this one hoping my problems would go away, but nope…..The hackers are there everyday changing my passwords, locking me out, erasing my 2 backup external HD’s, all my pictures, music and changing my preferences to show me that they are there. I disconnected the wifi and bluetooth but to no avail, i don’t even connect to the internet and they change my preferences around. When i use Applejack, it tells me that modifications have been done on my system. I have burnt apps on a cd and after i did a clean install, i wanted to install these apps, but i found out that the cd’s were blank….even after i’d used them before the clean install, which i do at least twice a day, every day.
I even bought a Hardware eraser called Drive erazer, that doesn’t even make a difference.
The last few days, i have been trying to start up from my original snow leapord dvd but am not able to, the only way is to use the 2 copies i made. After i fix all my preferences the way i want, i shut down the computer, and when i restart, there are question marks for iphoto…etc, all the ilife apps, which i haven’t even installed…note that i have not even connected to the internet yet.
My iphones have been hacked as well, erasing anything they want, changing my sim password and when i plug it in to charge, it vibrates twice…to show me that they are in.
This has been going on for almost 4 years, i am not able to enjoy my MBP and use it like any normal person would, everything you take for granted that takes you one minute, will take me 20 or 30 minutes to do.
I am at a complete loss, is it hardware, or software? I also found out that they have access to my place because they unlocked cable lock on my MBP and changed all my plugs around!!!!
Someone, please help….i don’t even know if they will let me send this email out, if you need my phone number, i will gladly give it to you.
Thankyou, Peter F.
Peter, I think you should consult a doctor.
Your description of the problem seems like it might be a case of paranoid delusions or schizophrenia than an actual tech support problem.
I was thinking similarly. If all the wired and wireless bits are off, there’s simply no way for anything to happen. Anything past that is perception.
With respect, please seek medical help.
